This project will fund the engineering, design, and construction of the long-term and permanent flood protection for the Freeport Electric Power Plant II infrastructure. The first phase of this project will develop, analyze, and design flood protection options for critical assets located in Power Plant II and/or the entire plant itself. The second phase of the project will design and construct the recommended improvement(s) identified in the phase I study. This project will fund the engineering, design, and construction of the long-term and permanent flood protection for the Freeport Electric Power Plant II infrastructure.
