Customer Service, Metering, and Billing

A highly skilled organization of dedicated professionals serving as Freeport Electric’s liaisons to the customer and who are committed to providing unparalleled service.  Their primary role is to develop and maintain relationships with Electric and be “The Face of the Electric Company”, and to answer and resolve customer questions and complaints.    Other major responsibilities encompass working with contractors and electricians to establish new and revamped electric service accounts,  reading and insuring precision of the 15,000+ meters that generate customer bills; assisting consumers with questions regarding monthly bills; purchasing, installing, reading, programming, and repairing residential and commercial meters; offering additional services to clients needing assistance with paying monthly invoices; and accurately processing payments for Freeport Electric.
